Below is the first installment of a list of wines that we enjoy to drink. We are calling it WWHBD. Not sure if anyone cares, but we thought we would share. Rather than including our tasting notes, although you can follow us on Delectable (@dracaenawines) if interested in reading them, I have included the tasting notes on each of their websites.
| “The H3 Merlot opens with aromas of raspberries, black pepper and earthy tones which lead to flavors of chocolate covered cherries and plum preserves on the silky smooth palate. The flavors and aromas culminate in an intense – yet elegant – finish.” – Juan Muñoz Oca, Winemaker

This Cabernet Franc is from the highest point of he Brecon Estate 1400′ and consequently on some of rockiest terrain that makes the vines struggle yet produces super intense berry flavors.
2009 – Focused, with nice density to the juicy blueberry and black plum flavor, hinting at black pepper, Lapsang souchong tea and tar as the finish sails on and on. Shows presence and depth, deftly balanced on the finish. Drink now trough 2019. 94 Points ~ Harvey Steiman, Wine Spectator

I think this is wonderful! Nice to know what is recommended rather than having a hit-or-miss especially during the holidays. Thanks Dracaena Wines! Have to try the H3 Merlot and Frog.
Thank you for reading and leaving a comment. The H3 is a solid wine and the Frog is amazing. If you can get your hands on it, you won’t be disappointed!
