TV Segment; NZ White Wine

I’m excited to share with you my television segment discussing New Zealand White wine. May was New Zealand Pour White Wine Month. And May 23rd is Pour Yourself a NZ White Day! We may think Sauvignon Blanc when we think NZ, but they successfully grow 40 varieties. Including Pinot Gris and Chardonnay.

In the segment we discuss New Zealand’s ideal location for growing grapes and some of the varieties that they grow exceptionally well.

Wines Tasted:

TeMata Sauvignon Blanc – 2021 – Hawkes Bay
Astrolabe Pinot Gris – 2022 – Marlborough
